Advanced Leadership

The IAMI GUEST Advanced Leadership course has been designed with the specific purpose to develop and support senior crew in the challenges of leading crew, peers, guests, owners and management. The programme provides a range of practical tools to support senior crew in their role on board, from Pursers to Officers, Heads of Department and Captains. The course can be run over two days in person or remotely over a number of weeks / weekends. • Communication challenges and giving feedback
• Different communication styles
• Intrinsic vs extrinsic motivation
• Mentoring & supporting others
• Influencing and negotiating
• Proactive time management
• Application and personal action planning (including two 1:1s for virtual participants)

Foundation Leadership

The IAMI GUEST Foundation Leadership course has been designed with the specific purpose to develop and support crew as they step up into a leadership role. The programme provides a range of practical tools to support crew in their role on board, whether deck, engineering or interior. The course is run over three days in person and can be brought to the yacht for all the senior crew to experience.
